ZAP Energy Pouches: flavours, ingredients and caffeine amounts

At ZAP, choosing between fruit and mint also changes the declared caffeine amount. This guide separates flavour names, ingredients and serving quantities without inferring a performance advantage.

At a glance

ZAP Black Cherry and Blueberry declare 100 mg caffeine per pouch, while Spearmint declares 150 mg. For all three checked products, the retailer also states 75 mg L-theanine, B vitamins and 18 pouches per tin.

What is ZAP?

The checked ZAP Energy line comprises nicotine- and tobacco-free slim pouches with caffeine, L-theanine and B vitamins. Retailer descriptions position the brand as founded by a handball player and state production in Sweden. Those are supplier statements about origin and positioning, not our own quality inspection or sporting-performance evidence.

ZAP snus is a search expression rather than a description of tobacco snus here. Similarly named brands such as ZAPZ or Zaps are not automatically the same product. Compare the specific pack, responsible provider and its declaration.

Checked against individual product descriptions on 23 October 2026. The table reports declared contents and pack counts, not laboratory measurements. Flavour directions come from product names or retailer information. Prices and availability may change.

Spearmint has a different amount from the fruit varieties

Black Cherry and Blueberry each declare 100 mg caffeine per pouch. Spearmint declares 150 mg, or 1.5 times the stated content. Keep that difference in view when changing flavours: the brand name does not identify one fixed caffeine amount.

These numbers describe declared pouch contents rather than a measured amount absorbed by the body. A 1.5-fold difference in content does not demonstrate exactly 1.5 times the personal effect or duration.

What is declared for L-theanine and B vitamins?

The checked descriptions state 75 mg L-theanine per pouch for all three varieties. The public Spearmint page also lists B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12. Its nutrient table uses a daily portion of two pouches, showing 300 mg caffeine and 150 mg L-theanine. Dividing by two gives 150 and 75 mg per pouch respectively.

That reference unit matters. A daily-portion number must not also be treated as the amount in one pouch. The labelled daily portion is not this magazine's individual recommendation. Read vitamin amounts using the same unit and the specific current pack.

The presence of L-theanine or B vitamins does not prove faster, better or side-effect-free performance of the finished product. This guide reports ingredients without adding unsupported benefit claims.

Which other ingredients are listed?

The public Spearmint ingredient information includes water, cellulose, caffeine, L-theanine, vitamins, flavourings and salt, together with glycerin, sucralose and sodium alginate. This information applies to the named variety. Do not automatically copy recipe details to Black Cherry or Blueberry without checking them.

If you avoid particular ingredients, use the complete current list. A retail filter saying Vitamins is not enough. The provider should clarify the current variant if a description, table and pack appear inconsistent.

Compare ZAP with other range structures

ZAP declares 18 pouches per tin. The checked WAKEY and AWAKEN single products declare 20, and W1NNAS 13. Convert prices to a per-pouch figure before comparing tin prices. Caffeine content remains an additional characteristic rather than a substitute for this calculation.

At 100 mg, for example, you can compare ZAP fruit varieties with other specifically declared 100-mg products. Differences in L-theanine, further ingredients, flavour and portion count remain. This compares product characteristics, not personal tasting results.
